So, let’s get back to some written stuff. Yeah, I like the videos and want to transition more to a video only format. But I have heard the critique and am here to give more! Regardless, the Royal Rumble!
(Spoilers in the review)
Overall, I have to say that the Royal Rumble this year was satisfying in a way that I haven’t experienced in some time. The Royal Rumble is my favorite WWE event. I love the 30 wrestler over the top rope challenge, I love the stories that can be told, I love everything about it! And since the Daniel Bryan snub and the Batista controversy, WWE has seemed to take some sort of odd glee in making the Royal Rumble a farce to troll fans. FINALLY! After years of waiting, I have a Royal Rumble that I can watch again and again from start to finish. There may be some skeptics out there, but this may be one of the best Royal Rumbles I have seen in my life time. As far as story, as far as characters, and as far as performance, it had everything! AND THERE WERE TWO! There was a men’s and women’s Royal Rumble! MY WILDEST DREAMS HAVE COME TRUE AND THEY WERE BOTH SOOO SATISFYING!!!! If that isn’t a precursor to what I’m about to write, I don’t know what is! But let’s get into the matches! Continue reading “Tanner Reviews Royal Rumble 2018”
So here we are… The top 20 greatest wrestlers of all time. Jesus Christ this has been one hell of a journey and already, looking at the 20, I have come to the conclusion that I may have split the finest of hairs in my number. Even the person who is ranked “20” can have a compelling argument as to why he would be number one. So keep that in mind people, at this point, we have truly hit the pinnacle. Any one of these 20 could be considered the greatest… But ultimately, I did make decisisions… So here we go! Also, be sure to check out the other sections as well!
30-21 Continue reading “100 Greatest Wrestlers of All Time: 20-11”
SPOILER ALERT: This is a review of Wrestlemania 33. This means that the results of which will be listed in the post. If you have not seen Wrestlemania 33 yet, PLEASE, go watch it before you read this. Now that I have said this, I am conscious free.
It is that time of year again! Wrestlemania has come and gone and it is time to look back at the night and see how it compares to years prior! This is a review of Wrestlemania 33. I will review each match, scaling them on a scale of 1-5. With that said, let’s start with the pre show

Well, here we are again. I noticed quickly that my WrestleMania 32 review was quite popular back in March. However, I did not want my website to become dedicated to wrestling since this is a movie and video game review site first and foremost. So doing a review on all big WWE events would feel… Well excessive. But there are the Big Four to consider, the four biggest matches in WWE’s yearly line up, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, and Royal Rumble. So I decided that I would cover the four of them instead to reach a nice and happy medium.
Overall, I have to say that 2016 SummerSlam was good. It certainly was one of the better events on the WWE card this year and left us with some amazing feel good moments as well as some good matches to boot. There were some problems with the night, but overall, the pros outweigh the cons. So we are going to look at all the matches on the card and see how they went down. The Pre-Show matches will be covered, but to a lesser extent then the main card. Continue reading “Tanner Reviews SummerSlam”
So seeing as how I have created lists on my favorite movies and video games of all times. I thought it would be fun to do some for wrestling as well. So, seeing as how this is going to be long, I am going to keep this short and say that I am going to do two lists. My favorite WWE wrestling matches of all time and my most hated WWE wrestling matches of all time. Sound cool? GREAT! So with that being said, let’s start off with those matches that I ABSOLUTELY cannot stand! Please keep in mind that these are matches that I personally hate with a burning passion. While this will coincide with matches that are terrible, because I have good fucking taste and anyone who says otherwise is a dirty liar, the matches will be ranked on how much they drive me nuts as opposed to their general badness. With that said, let’s start with some honorable mentions. Continue reading “Top 20 Most Hated Wrestling Matches of All Time”
So… I’m drawing a blank today. I’m back in school, 2015 is over, I haven’t had a chance to go see any movies, an apparent blizzard is sweeping through the northeast, bread stock is at an all time high, and I am left with absolutely nothing to review today… Son of a bitch. Well… The Royal Rumble in WWE is this Sunday… And I do enjoy making a list… Let’s rank the best Royal Rumble matches for the pure sake of fucking doing it. Try to keep in mind while I am making this list that I am reviewing the matches, not the events themselves. Continue reading “Top 5 Royal Rumble Matches”
And so we come to the end of this special with the big belt, the WWE World Championship. I have to say that this list did not come lightly. There have been some legendary names that held this belt and at the end of the day, there are many wrestlers who simply are not going to make the cut due to the fact that there were just better wrestlers to choose from out of the litter. But overall, I took the ten wrestlers who made the belt amazing and those whose careers were shaped because of it. I know this list is going to be controversial, so let’s get started. Continue reading “Top Ten Greatest WWE Champions”
We are coming into the home stretch of this special on the WWE’s Championships through the years. We are now down to only the two secondary titles (Intercontinental and US) as well as the big boy, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. This is going to get to the real meat and potatoes of the belts that the WWE recognizes and still defends to this day.
Before we get to the Worst and the Best of the US Championship, you NEED TO REMEMBER that this is a WWE ONLY list. In other words, even if the belt’s lineage includes the NWA/WCW lineage, we are only focusing on the belt since its reincarnation and initial title reign held by Eddie Guerrero in 2003. With that said, let’s get started with the lemons that hold the prestige of this belt down. Continue reading “Best and Worst WWE United States Champions”
